Biography

Nastaran is a Principal Research Scientist at Autodesk in Toronto, Canada, where she leads projects to find innovative and smart ways of facilitating human-centered optimal design. She helps decision-makers find better designs in less time by providing them with predictive tools for optimizing complex designs with competing design criteria and constraints. Her background in optimization, artificial intelligence, and computational sciences empowers her with a wide vision on the scopes of designs and helps her see the possibilities to translate solutions between different disciplines. She has published her work in credible journals and at conferences, and has been nominated for and won several industrial awards.
