Biography
Allin Groom is a Principal Research Scientist on the Industry Futures team at Autodesk Research, supporting Architecture, Construction and Manufacturing. He specializes in materials science with a particular passion for novel application of materials. He holds an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in micro- and nanomaterials and technologies from the University of Surrey and is a Queen Mary, University of London alumnus holding a master’s degree (MEng) focusing on polymer nanocomposite materials for ballistic defense applications.
