GEdit: a testbed for editing by contiguous gesture
AbstractGEdit is a prototype graphical editor that permits you to create and manipulate three simple types of objects using shorthand and proof-reader’s type gestures. The three types of objects that can be manipulated are: squares, circles and triangles . Using hand-drawn symbols, the user can add, delete, move and copy these objects. Objects can be manipulated individually or in groups . Groups are specified with hand-drawn circling symbols.
