Biography
Sayam Dhingra is a Senior Research & Design Engineer at the Autodesk Technology Center in Boston. His work centers on the application of artificial intelligence and the development of standards and protocols that enable scalable digital pipelines supporting the future of autonomous machine control, connected workflows, and intelligent system management.
Sayam brings a multidisciplinary background in computer science and computer engineering, with experience across software, hardware, artificial intelligence, computer networking, and cybersecurity. His technical expertise spans the design and development of integrated systems that bridge physical and digital environments. He has multiple patent applications currently pending review with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with additional inventions in development.
In his current role, Sayam is helping build foundational technologies that accelerate digital transformation and enable more adaptive, automated, and secure industrial systems. His work also explores the convergence of the full production lifecycle, including digital twin onboarding, tacit knowledge capture, context-driven autonomous design, CAM programming, and the physical fabrication of complex objects in the spirit of “make anything.”
Outside of work, Sayam enjoys tinkering with microcontrollers and developing an open-source home IoT framework focused on data privacy and security. He is also known for designing humorous stickers and hiding them around the office, and he enjoys anime and gaming.
