Biography

Robert Giaquinto is an AI Research Scientist in Autodesk’s AI Lab. His research at Autodesk is primarily focused on generative AI in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) domain. More generally, Robert is excited about building AI that augments our ability to create, accelerating the flow of ideas into tangible forms. Prior to joining Autodesk, Robert worked at AWS AI Labs on a number projects, including on the AI-powered code generator CodeWhisperer and the large language modeling service Bedrock. Robert holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, where he explored deep generative models with applications to image generation, representation learning, and uncertainty.
