Biography

Richard Pedley is a Senior Research Engineer on the Industrialized Construction team at Autodesk Research. Richard graduated with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering before joining Autodesk through their graduate scheme.

During his career with Autodesk he has held a variety of different roles supporting customers across the globe with the manufacturing tools in the power products. He moved to the Advanced Consulting team where he delivered a number of high value manufacturing projects and discovered a love of making things. He joined Autodesk Research, initially in the Manufacturing Industry Futures team before becoming part of the IOC Industry Futures team at its inception, where he hopes to bring his knowledge and experience with robotics and automation to develop new solutions for the future of construction.
