Biography

Pete is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer in the Research Engineering team. Pete’s current research focus is on large language models and their application to design, however, he has a strong background in graph neural networks/message passing, which was the topic of his PhD thesis while he studied at UCL. Prior to joining Autodesk Research, Pete has worked at several AI startups in a mixture of both research and software engineering roles, which involved projects ranging from building ML compute platforms to drug discovery research. Outside of work, Pete loves to spend time playing the violin and piano, playing chess, or going bouldering.
