Biography

Oriana Sampson is an Analyst on Autodesk’s AI Market Intelligence team. In this role, she contributes to enterprise strategy through competitive and market analysis across the AI ecosystem: from broad market trends to individual company developments and cross-cutting platform players. She builds structured analytical frameworks, supports evaluations of emerging technologies, and helps translate technical and market signals into insights for senior technical and executive stakeholders. Oriana also supports specialty technical research efforts in collaboration with Autodesk’s Chief Architects, assisting in connecting technical findings to broader strategic context.

Her work includes competitive intelligence, ecosystem mapping, and technology landscape research, with exposure to areas adjacent to corporate strategy such as opportunity sizing and capability benchmarking. She works with stakeholders ranging from researchers and senior technical leaders to executive audiences, helping ensure analytical rigor and clarity.

Before joining Autodesk, Oriana earned a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at MIT, she competed on the Division I Women’s Openweight rowing team, served as a volunteer EMT, chaired the Senior Ball Committee, and participated in the student-run Brass Rat Fund, gaining early exposure to investment evaluation and portfolio decision-making.

Across her experiences, Oriana brings a structured and thoughtful approach to understanding complex markets and technologies. She is particularly interested in identifying patterns across emerging signals and contributing to a clearer big-picture view that supports informed, near and long-term decisions.
