Biography

Mikaela manages operations for the Technical Environments team within Autodesk Research, working remotely with the Technology Centers in Boston, San Francisco, and Toronto. She establishes and maintains systems to facilitate shop operations and streamline connections between teams, as well as project manages special initiatives. Mikaela has spearheaded a variety of new projects in the Technology Centers, including overseeing the transformation of the workshop training management system, advancing data literacy and machine connectivity by project managing the Connected Workshops, and ensuring a safe post-COVID-19 reopening through the TC Return Taskforce. Mikaela has a background in fine art, fashion, and costume design, and began her journey at Autodesk as an Instructables content creator. She holds a BA in Visual Art from Brown University, and an AAS in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her approach to both design and project management is rooted in a passion for creative problem solving; finding elegant solutions that bring efficiency and beauty to life.
