Biography
Mehdi Ataei is a Senior Research Scientist at Autodesk Research in Toronto, Canada. His expertise is in the design of algorithms for numerical analysis, and development of hardware-accelerated multi-physics simulation and machine learning models for design optimization, generative design, and digital twins. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Ph.D. from University of Toronto with a focus on computational physics and machine learning. He was also a postgraduate affiliate at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
