Biography

Marco is a Senior Manager, Software Architect at Autodesk Research where he leads a team investigating next-generation cloud computing and other core technologies that enable research projects.
He is an expert in multi-cloud job orchestration and workflow automation, using best-in-class infrastructure-as-code tools. He is also a pioneer in the use of ontologies and knowledge graphs for symbolic/semantic reasoning.

Marco has a rich professional background, including previous roles as the CTO at Wooji, ZapToBuy, and Gexcel. He also worked as a software engineer at Broadcom and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to the field, such as inventing tools for real-time visualization, navigation, and texture mapping of massive 3D point clouds.
