Biography

Jiwon Jun is a Senior UX designer exploring human-centered experiences at the intersection of design and emerging technologies. Prior to joining Autodesk, she worked as a research designer at HP Labs for 6 years and investigated forward-looking concepts related to 3D-Printing and Virtual Reality. In addition, she has been teaching MFA design students at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco as an adjunct professor since 2021. Before moving to the SF Bay Area, Jiwon earned an MFA degree in Media Design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and a BFA degree in Visual Communication Design at the Kookmin University in South Korea.

Her projects have been featured on Fast Company, Creators Project, BuzzFeed, and ACM Interaction Magazines and exhibited at The Museum of Arts and Design (NY), Symposium on Computational Fabrication 2019, and Research Through Design Conference 2017. She is a winner of the 2016 SXSW Interactive Innovation Award and awardee of the 2015 Art Center Graduate Honors Fellowship.
