Biography

Jennifer Fox, Ph.D. is Autodesk’s Director of Network and Research Outcomes. In this role, she helps develop and manage the strategic direction of our network of Technology Center startups, research collaborators, and corporate innovators, and she directs Research’s strategic planning efforts. Jennifer brings her 30 years’ experience working with researchers and startups to her role as a business leader at Autodesk.

Jennifer is an Autodesk boomerang employee, who last served as Director and Chief of Staff for the Product, Design & Manufacturing and Platform & Technologies teams. She is a researcher and scientist by training, who received her PhD in Molecular & Cellular Biology. Before first joining Autodesk in 2019, she spent a decade creating and running a startup incubator for health tech companies.

Before re-joining Autodesk in her current role, she was Chief of Staff for Absci—a company that started in her health tech incubator. In her role as Absci’s Chief of Staff, she was instrumental in the business development and investor relations work that led to Absci’s successful bid to go public in July 2021.

Jennifer’s driving passions are to translate deep research into applied products and tools that improve lives and to create resilient and adaptable networks, resources and opportunities to link cutting edge research to innovative corporate efforts, with the end goal of creating a more equitable, healthy and creative world.
