Biography

James MacManus is a Principal Engineer at Autodesk Research with a background in frontend architecture, developer tooling, APIs, and application platforms. His work spans software engineering, design, graphics, and emerging technologies, with a focus on building systems and tools that support research and experimentation.

He has a longstanding interest in 3D tooling, graphics, programming languages, and developer experience, and particularly enjoys working on projects that bring those areas together.
