Biography

Fikret Kalay is a Senior Research Manager for Autodesk Research’s Industry Futures group focused on advanced manufacturing techniques, subtractive, additive manufacturing and automation. His group is also interested in taking advantage of robot flexibility to expand the uses of robotics for the manufacturing industry, and in the convergence of manufacturing and AEC. He leads a team specialized in Industrialized Construction looking at how to leverage manufacturing in construction with a specific interest in: design for industrialized construction, automation workflow in construction, and large format additive manufacturing.

Fikret has a Master of Science in Simulation. He is also passionate about coding and construction, and loves drawing houses in his spare time. Fikret joined Autodesk in 2016.
