Biography

Durvesh Malpure is a Machine Learning Engineer in the Research Engineering team, specializing in generative AI, with a particular focus on distributed and multimodal machine learning. He earned his Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where he engaged in extensive research and project work in Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Multimodal Machine Learning. This academic background is complemented by his practical experience at Nokia Bell Labs, where he interned and contributed to large-scale distributed machine learning projects.
Prior to his graduate studies, Durvesh worked on computer vision during his undergraduate studies in India with multiple engineering and research projects.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Durvesh is passionate about hiking and attending music concerts, activities that allow him to explore diverse landscapes and cultural expressions.
