Biography

Dan leads a growing team within the Manufacturing Industry Futures group. We strive to build the factory of the future where utilize our Technology Centers to explore how our design and make tools can be improved with better understanding of the messy reality of physical production workflows. Our approach is to develop agentic process control, physics informed simulation, and robotics + AR. Dan has spent 10 years in industry including digital fabrication, autonomous vehicles, and robotics. He earned a PhD in 2016 from MIT in the Design and Computation group.
