Biography

Antony Barker is currently a consultant working within the Birmingham UK office for the Manufacturing Future’s Team, Autodesk Research. He has spent nearly 25 years within the manufacturing industry, focusing largely on quality and inspection, 3D data capture scanning, white light, and x-ray, and additive and subtractive manufacturing. Past projects within consulting are Rolls-Royce Ultra fan, Pratt & Whitney Singapore NEO fan blade machining, GKN A330 landing gear automated inspection and rectification.

When time allows, Antony is also researching CT Scanning for use within Additive Manufacturing and Fusion to create a closed loop process, and budget scanners to use within Fusion and bring 3D Inspection to every budget user.
