Biography
Mo Han holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (AI/ML) from Northeastern University and is a Principal Research Scientist on the Construction Industry Futures team at Autodesk Research. With over 10 years of AI/ML experience spanning academia and industry, she specializes in large language models, multimodal machine learning, and their application to architecture, engineering, and construction. Her research focuses on how AI can fundamentally transform the way the built environment is designed, built, and operated — from intelligent project workflows to data-driven decision-making across the construction lifecycle. Her work sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and the built environment, making her deeply familiar with both the technical foundations of modern AI tools and the practical realities of deploying them in AEC workflows.
