Biography

James is a Research Scientist at Autodesk AI Lab, where he focuses on efficient generative AI across text, vision, and speech. He earned his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech, receiving the Outstanding Graduate Research Award for his contributions to lifelong machine learning. Before joining Autodesk, he worked on efficient large language model architectures and inference at Samsung Research America and Xero AI Lab, where his research led to publications and patents.
