Essex Edwards is a motion modelling researcher. That means techniques for animating characters for media and entertainment. He has expertise in physics-based animation, numerical analysis, and character animation. In 2025, he won a Technical Academy Award for the creation of the Ziva VFX character tissue simulation software.
