Biography
James is a Research Robotics Software Engineer at Autodesk Research. In this role, he is responsible for helping to build platforms and capabilities that enable adaptive robotics systems in manufacturing and construction applications.
Previously, James built a hardware and software platform for autonomous earth-moving robots and designed next-generation wireless telecommunications equipment. He holds a BSE and MSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
James is passionate about building systems at the intersection of hardware and software that come to life in the physical world and create a positive impact. When not building novel robotic systems, James can be found in his wood shop crafting his next piece of home furniture or out in the mountains hiking or rock climbing.
