Biography

Daniel (Dan) Noviello is a Senior Research Program Manager. At Autodesk Research, he develops and manages strategic relationships, and ground-breaking research projects. Dan has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) with a double major in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The University of Queensland, Australia, as well as several years of industrial experience designing, analysing, and testing aircraft and spacecraft structures. In previous roles at Autodesk, Dan has researched and consulted on multiple topics in the manufacturing space including industrial 3D-printing, injection moulding, robotics, generative design, structural optimisation, and more. He has experience in many industries including, among others, automotive and motorsports, medical implants, consumer products, and heavy machinery. Dan is passionate about advancing design and manufacturing with emerging technology to benefit individuals, the environment and ultimately humankind.
